Puppy Love!!

At Hunter's request for a "puppy and a kitty for my birthday" (he will be 3 on Nov 28th), We found a place to meet and play with kitties and puppies... The Humane Society. What we didn't realize is that there would actually be "normal" animals at this Humane Society. (For all of you who met our old family dog Jake, and our cat Gwen, you know they weren't "normal").
Meet Zazoo, a cute and loveable pit pup we met at the Idaho Humane Society in Boise! He is just about the cutiest and sweetest little pup you will ever meet. Zazoo absolutely LOVES Hunter. He follows him around everywhere and does not leave his side when we visit. Zazoo is a little timid around adults, which makes me think one wasn't very nice to him, but has warmed up to Jeremai and I. Zazoo also has a sister Emma that has already been adopted. She has the same mannerisms as her bro Zas; just as sweet and cute. They also have a brother Tent, who is a zesty little pup who is quite the go-getter. Hunter didn't appreciate his enthusiasm so unfortunately we did not spend as much time playing Tent. Oh, by the way...the names are compliments of Hunter. He is excellent with names. We may even set up a business out of our home; Need a pet name, call Hunter. We are working on getting him his own phone line.
We haven't adopted Zazoo but at Hunter's reqest we visit him. We are praying he finds a good home. Fortunately for him puppies have a much better chance of becoming adopted than the older dogs. Let me tell you, there were quite a few "Jakes" in Pitbull form, at that Shelter. Our family isn't quite ready for a puppy or a kitty. (Jeremai hates cats, so that would never happen anyways.) But little Hunter just may have to settle for a fish for now (maybe name him Dog) and continue the visits at the shelter. He has told us that he will take the puppy potty and walk him on a leash, and give him food and water. He also mentioned that the dog would sleep with him! Yikes! So he has good intentions...not sure where he learns these things, but very promising for a soon-to-be-three-year-old!

Cheese! Great Costume; Thank you Grandma Walhovd! At Hunter's request to be a green spider for Halloween, Grandma Walhovd found a pattern and slaved over a sewing machine so her cute litte grandson could get what he wished for! Isn't he blessed to have such nice Grandmothers?!
Yea!! The first Trick-or-Treater for this nice lady! I am not sure who was more excited, Hunter or lady-in-cheesy-halloween-costume! She busted out of her house the minute she saw Hunter and he ran up the sidewalk as soon as he saw candy!!

Oh boy!! Hunter found out this candy business is easy!! Off to the next house....

....and the next........

....and the next...........

Hunter ditches the cap and Dad takes the lead!

Ok, that's enough fun for one night! Hunters Trick-or-treating adventure came to an end as dusk set in.
We still haven't figured out where that bag of candy went?! Maybe the Great Pumpkin took it... or maybe Dad...

Pumpkin Carving!

Legends In The Making!!

What's up Cuz?! These two cousins are Legends-in-the-making baby!
Ryan's not so sure this legend thing is all that cool.

Yikes!! Hunter is man-handling Ryan! What you don't see is the next second when Hunter loses his balance and cousin Ryan ends up in his lap. The camaras shut off when the tears hit. However, they parted ways as friends.

Hunter the Cowboy

Grandma Walhovd made Hunter an awesome Horsey Costume! Hunter Loves Galloping around the house in it. Thanks Grandma! Giddy-up!!!

Hunter's (Pre) Birthday with the Walhovd Clan

Grandma and Grandpa Walhovd threw a Birthday Party for Hunter while we were visiting the Midwest. Uncle Josh, Aunt Erica, and Cousin Ryan were the lovely hosts! Uncle Michael, Aunt Andrea, and Aunt Mary Ann were also in attendence. Hunter opened some great gifts! We all had a lot of fun and Hunter sure thought he was pretty special that day!!! Thanks everyone!
